It’s actually called “Grandma’s Peach Cobbler.” Which is why I picked it to make! I love my peach cobbler to have more of a breading versus a granola topping so that’s why I chose this specific recipe!

Backstory….we bought our 1920s craftsman home 5.5 years ago and one of the things that convinced me that we needed to buy this house was the front porch! They just don’t make them like this anymore!

For the last 3 years we have acted as a full-service design studio, while maintaining and renovating multiple properties on our own, and creating content for our online platforms. And although all these things have been dreams fulfilled for us, they are not sustainable to the season of life we are in as a family.

It’s full on fall here, which means I have been helping myself transition into this cooler weather by making alllll the comfort foods! I love sharing tried and true recipes with friends so I thought…why not share them with all of you too!

Our design intention for this project was to reinsert as many “original” time stamped elements back into this 1920’s home as possible. So when it came to the kitchen we spared no expense. We went all out with true marble tile.

For this bathroom we used all Daltile products which we love because they offer a wide variety of quality styles at a very affordable price.

We were originally planning to paint the brick white and the wood trim a slate blue. But for multiple reasons, one being our total cost into the project so far, and the other being, the overall aesthetic of the neighborhood, we ultimately decided to go in a different direction.

This business isn’t the “end game” for me - and while that may seem backwards in our Capitalist society, I’ve realized that I don't need to have a big name to be successful or even to be known. None of those things define who I am and it’s time I start editing out the things in my life to reflect that.

When redesigning this bathroom this client knew she wanted a very clean Scandanavian/modern style with a pop of color and texture….

We decided to open up the wall between the two rooms to make these two spaces coexist together. Doing this not only brightened up the entire kitchen but it made the functionality so much more appealing overall.
