Decorating With Neutrals This Christmas

It's almost that time of year again sooooo of course I had to share some of my favorite ways to decorate for the season! Last year I did an entire post on how to decorate with neutrals during this very red and green season. You don't want to "overdue" it but you still want to be festive and add color to your space. Our Fixer Upper...REVEALED

It’s been exactly 2 months and 13 days since we signed on our new house; 2 months and 12 days since we “broke ground” on our house; and 1 month and 3 weeks since we moved in to our house. Let’s just say that life has been a WHIRLWIND!  While each day seems to fly by, I can’t believe that we began this huge endeavor only a little over 2 months ago. Somebody asked us the other day, “So you guys have been living here for about a year right?!” I laughed and replied, “It sure SEEMS like it!”

DIY Fun Green Wreaths

For a long time I have wanted to buy a couple of fern wreaths to brighten up my living room but I could never get myself to pay the price they are asking for in the stores. Like I’ve mentioned in my previous DIY blog, I am somewhat of a bargain shopper, so anything that looks like it can easily be made BUT has an overpriced tag attached to it gives me a bad taste in my mouth. I recently ran across a fellow DIY-er that blogged about how she made her own wreath and I thought….what the heck, I’m going to give it a try. And once I started I couldn’t stop! The process is so easy AND not to mention affordable, I had to share it with the rest of you!
