I have been really contemplating this Christmas what I was going to do with my decor. Last year I made the red tones pop a lot and this year I just wanted to keep it more simple; tone it down a bit and decorate with more neutral tones with a "hint" of red here and there. I am super excited about how it turned out!

It's almost that time of year again sooooo of course I had to share some of my favorite ways to decorate for the season! Last year I did an entire post on how to decorate with neutrals during this very red and green season. You don't want to "overdue" it but you still want to be festive and add color to your space. But how? I hear this question a lot...how much color is too much color? 

We started this project in the beginning of March with the hopes of creating a bathroom that was not only functional but beautiful. Seeing as this bathroom is the master suit of the house, we wanted to emphasize the size of the space while truly creating a “his and her” bathroom suit. If you have been following me along on Instagram you have seen the many different phases of this renovation. While not always pretty, this process has given way to more beauty than I think this house knows what to do with.

When we began this bathroom remodel we knew we were in for a LOT of work (see the "before" pictures here). I mean anything that is covered in mauve colored anything requires a complete makeover, am I right? This whole process has stretched us and challenged us to really think outside the box but with the help from Lowe's Home Improvement we were able to make this renovation worth our while.

About three years ago I received this super cute vintage dresser from my grandmother-in-love when we moved into a place of our own after getting married. I have always loved its elegance and old-fashion style but knew that I eventually wanted to give it a little facelift. To keep the fun rolling we thought we'd share with you the worst part of the renovation...demolition! My husband has put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the removal of all those pepto pink tiles but I am NOT sad to see them go! Take a look!
