Life Lately: Before Fall Ends
I know I am super behind with posting this “fall themed” post but really, in my defense…fall isn’t over!
HELLO THANKSGIVING! I STILL SEE YOU!
So even though the majority of you have already tuned your radios to everything Christmas and your houses are dressed in the greens and reds that come with the Holiday season, I’m over here just trying to relish in the now of this fall season before baby #4 comes and life turns topsy turvey for the next year.
Believe it or not, these pictures were taken like a week and a half ago, before the huge blizzard that blew into town and turned the whole town white! This really was one of my most favorite moments to be apart of. So I thought I’d share this very special evening with you, and tell you a little bit about what life has been like lately, while I still can remember it.
Life Lately: Before Fall Ends
We live in a small town with a large yard that hosts MANY large old trees, which is lovely to look at through my windows when it comes time for them to change. They are the most gorgeous colors of yellow and orange I have every seen. But then…well you know what happens. This evening my husband took the kids outside and decided to build them the worlds biggest leaf pile…the fun that ensued afterwards can be viewed below!
I seriously was just trying to soak it all in while capturing all the activity as well. I had Eliza who kept burying herself 3 ft under and nobody could find where she was at! Then there was Justus, who wouldn’t stop moving long enough to get any “good” pictures of. And then of course Rozalyn, she would pose for days in front of the camera. She loved every photo opportunity that came her way. But truly, these shots were all her just being her. She loves everything fall; the changing leaves, the crisp cool air, the drinking of warm beverages, the throwing of leaves. She is my daughter through and through.
And then we had the throwing contest….
Somebody may or may not be ready to be potty trained (AHEM). But I’m convinced she’ll teach herself. #mamaistired.
To say that Guy got a workout in that day is an understatement. He truly is the best daddy around and we are so thankful to have him in our lives to love us as well as he does. After this beautiful day, Guy and I began a very intense makeover of the soon to be nursery that lasted us a good week and a half (updates to come on that soon). And made us lose all connection with the outside world! HA!
But I hope this little fall post gets you in the mood for Thanksgiving and reminds you what’s truly important! There is nothing better than family! Make sure to follow along tomorrow on my Podcast [HERE] to hear the latest episode!
From our family to yours, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! And thank you for stopping by!
xoxo, Tessa
