2017 has been incredibly special to us; in September, we bought a 100 year old farmhouse in a cozy small town. Ever since stepping into this fairytale of a home, I have been dazzled by its character and charm. I couldn't wait to decorate for Christmas; to watch the house come to life and to see my kids experience Christmas here.
Although this season seems to be more chaotic than most, we still try to make this time of year one to remember with our kids; driving the streets at night to look at Christmas lights, sneaking in an extra cup of hot cocoa before bed time, finding our favorite "elf" friend every morning and telling tales of his journey to the North Pole that night, dancing to classic Christmas music in front of the tree, and dreaming of Christmas morning.
