Hanging Vintage Art In Your Home
Vintage art has made a HUGE comeback in the recent years and I am HERE. FOR. IT! I feel like it took me a bit to figure out the style that suited our 1920s craftsman home but when I started seeing this combination of mid-century modern and vintage going around I KNEW this was the style that was going to bring this whole house aesthetic together perfectly. If you know me well, you know that I’ve been fighting against this thick dark trim for so long and I finally feel like we’ve got a style that compliments it.
I wanted to add a vintage gallery wall to my house but I couldn’t figure out where until we redid our hardwood floors and stairs and suddenly it was like the heavens opened and I saw the perfect opportunity!

Hanging Vintage Art In Your Home
I wanted a very electric, disorganized (but not chaotic) gallery wall that somehow flowed all together without being too “matchy matchy.” I got all my frames from places like Facebook Marketplace and Goodwill where I later upcycled most of them using Rub-N-Buff on the frames. I ordered a lot of the prints from ETSY and other similar websites where they send you a downloadable file once you’ve purchased. I then either had them printed off or printed them off myself.
You can shop some of my favorite vintage prints below and they are for a fraction of the price of real vintage art! I have a few of these prints hung up in my house too and love how they turned out!
I loved so much how this wall turned out that I couldn’t stop myself from sticking vintage art pieces throughout my entire home. Check out some of these fun places I picked.
Entryway: I hung this fun vintage art piece that I bought at a garage sale. I hung it from a piece of twine I had laying around.
Dining Room: we have this cute little dining room window seat where we sit to eat. And I just loved how this piece paired with the faux wallpaper color.
Fireplace mantle: I love how much color this piece brings to this neutral space! It makes me want to get one of those Framed TVs for this space!
